Where Exceptional Dentistry Meets Genuine Compassion

At AIRE Dental Group, we believe your dental experience should begin with trust, comfort, and a genuine human connection.

From the moment you walk through our doors, you are more than just a patient—you are a valued member of our dental family.

We understand that visiting a new dental office can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you are seeking answers to complex dental concerns or exploring specialized treatment options. Our goal is to make your first visit as welcoming, informative, and stress-free as possible.

We take the time to listen to your concerns, understand your goals, and provide thoughtful, personalized care. Whether you are visiting us for routine dental care, TMJ evaluation and therapy, orthodontics, periodontal treatment, or dental implants, we want you to feel confident that you are in caring and experienced hands.

1. Before Your Visit: Finding Us and Getting Comfortable

Our office is conveniently located in Downers Grove, Illinois, with plenty of complimentary parking available directly outside our building.

You will find AIRE Dental Group at the corner of the shopping plaza, next to Army. Our AIRE Dental Group sign is clearly visible, making our office easy to locate.

We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early, particularly for your first appointment, so you can settle in without feeling rushed.

We have thoughtfully created a welcoming environment that feels different from a traditional dental office. While waiting, please help yourself to a cup of coffee or water, explore our mini library, and enjoy a quiet moment in our comfortable lounge.

We want your experience to feel less like a medical appointment and more like visiting a place where you are genuinely welcomed and cared for.

2. What to Bring to Your First Appointment

To help us provide you with the most comprehensive and personalized care, we kindly ask that you bring the following items, when applicable:

• Photo Identification: A valid government-issued ID.
• Dental or Medical Insurance Card: If you plan to use insurance benefits, please bring your current insurance information.
• Referral Information: If you were referred by your primary dentist, physician, or another healthcare provider, please bring your referral form or relevant documentation.
• Medication List: A current list of prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, and supplements, including dosages when available.
• Relevant Medical and Dental Records: Previous dental X-rays, CBCT scans, MRI reports, treatment records, or other medical documents related to your concerns.
• Medical History: Please inform us of any significant medical conditions, allergies, previous surgeries, or health concerns that may affect your dental treatment.

For Patients Considering Dental Implant Surgery or All-on-X Full-Arch Rehabilitation:

Your overall health and safety are our highest priorities. Depending on your medical history and planned procedure, we may require medical clearance from your primary care physician or specialist before proceeding with surgery.

Our team will guide you through any necessary medical evaluations and documentation.

If you are uncertain whether a particular medical record is relevant, please bring it or let us know. We would rather have a complete understanding of your health than overlook something important.

3. Preparing for Your Appointment

We want to make the process of becoming a new patient as simple and convenient as possible.

Step 1: Schedule Your Consultation
Contact our friendly team to schedule an appointment based on your dental concerns, treatment needs, and availability.

Step 2: Complete Your New Patient Forms
Before your appointment, you may receive digital forms to complete at your convenience.
These forms allow us to review your medical and dental history, understand your concerns, and prepare for your visit.
Completing your paperwork in advance helps us spend more time focusing on you rather than administrative tasks.

Step 3: Appointment Confirmation
Our team may contact you before your appointment to confirm the date and time and provide any additional instructions.

Step 4: Appointment Changes or Cancellations
We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and schedules sometimes change.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request at least 24 hours’ advance notice whenever possible.
This courtesy allows us to offer the appointment to another patient who may be waiting for care.
We will gladly work with you to find another convenient appointment time.

4. What to Expect When You Arrive

A Warm Welcome From Our Dental Family
Your first visit begins with a genuine smile.
You will be greeted by our wonderful team members, who will help you feel comfortable and guide you through the check-in process.
After completing any remaining paperwork, our team will be happy to introduce you to the office and familiarize you with our facilities.
We invite you to relax in our patient lounge, enjoy a beverage, or select a book from our mini library while you wait.

Meeting Your Doctor
Depending on the purpose of your visit, you will meet with one of our experienced providers:
• Dr. Nader Amiran: Comprehensive dentistry, TMJ evaluation and therapy, functional dentistry, and dental implants.
• Dr. Ameer Shammaa: Orthodontics, including traditional braces, clear aligner therapy, and early orthodontic intervention.
• Dr. Matthew Tokarski: Periodontics, periodontal surgery, and related specialized care.

During your consultation, we will take time to listen to your concerns, discuss your dental and medical history, and understand what you hope to achieve.

Depending on your needs, your appointment may include a comprehensive clinical examination, diagnostic imaging, photographs, or other assessments.

We believe that the foundation of excellent treatment is an accurate diagnosis, thoughtful planning, and open communication.

Your doctor will explain the findings, discuss appropriate treatment options, and answer your questions in language you can understand.

Our philosophy is simple: We want you to be an informed and active participant in decisions about your health.

We will never rush you into making an important treatment decision.

5. A Few Things We Want Every New Patient to Know

Your Voice Matters. Your Comfort Matters. You Matter.

At AIRE Dental Group, we believe exceptional dentistry is about much more than healthy teeth and beautiful smiles.

It is about building meaningful relationships, earning your trust, and treating every individual with dignity, compassion, and respect.

We understand that every patient arrives with a different story. Some come to us for preventive care, others have experienced years of discomfort or unresolved dental concerns, and some may feel anxious because of previous dental experiences.

Whatever brings you to our office, we want you to know that we are here to listen without judgment.

Please feel comfortable sharing your concerns, expectations, past experiences, and treatment goals.

If you experience dental anxiety, have physical limitations, need additional time, or require special accommodations, we encourage you to let our team know before your appointment.

We will do our best to make your experience as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

We also believe in transparency. Before beginning recommended treatment, we strive to explain the clinical findings, available options, anticipated fees, and what you can expect throughout the process.

Our promise is not simply to provide dental treatment, but to deliver care that is thoughtful, ethical, personalized, and centered around your long-term well-being.
