Dr. Nader Amiran Earned his Bachelor of dental Surgery (BDS) from Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore, India in 2011, Followed by his master’s degree in biomedical sciences (MA) from Roosevelt university in 2016 Chicago. He graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from UIC College of Dentistry in 2019.
He practices all aspects of general dentistry, Temporomandibular disorder (TMD) and dental implants. Dr. Nader has a great interest in occlusion, TMJ and Dental implants. He has completed many hours of continuing education from an organization accredited by the Academy of General Dentistry. He received certification in surgical and prosthetic implantology from the prestigious Chicago Implant Institute. He’s actively pursuing the latest dental techniques and technologies by attending continuing education courses.
He has created many beautiful smiles and finds great joy in cosmetics and digital dentistry as well. He is an active member of the Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Association.
Coming From a family of physician, Dr. Nader takes pride in building life-long relationships with his patients and believes in delivering compassionate dental care in a relaxed calm environment. He believes in treating his patients like family. He goes the extra mile to assure comfort and excellence in patient care.
In his spare time, Dr. Nader plays piano and spends time with his family and friends. He’s a self-proclaimed Chef; trying and learning new cuisines and recipes.
Dr. Courtney Donkoh graduated from The University of Iowa in 2010, attaining a BS in Integrative Physiology. She completed her dental training in 2014 at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Since graduating, Dr. Donkoh has completed hundreds of hours of post-graduate continuing education, primarily in the areas of craniofacial growth and development, dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontics.
Dr. Donkoh is passionate about interdisciplinary care and the important role oral health plays in one’s quality of life and systemic health. She considers herself an “academic” and when not with patients, is often reading a text book or peer-reviewed literature, or even preparing or presenting lecture material.
Dr. Ahmed Shawky DDS MS graduated from the University of Minnesota, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, and Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees (BS/MS) in Biomedical Engineering. Furthering his expertise, he completed additional training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Marquette University where he received a Masters of Science degree (MS) and an Orthodontics Specialty Certificate. He is a proud member of several professional organizations including: the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the Midwest Society of Orthodontists (MSO) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
Away from work Dr. Shawky is passionate about running and cycling. In fact, he and his wife met on a memorable 100-mile round trip bike ride from Illinois to Wisconsin. Together they also enjoy cooking and socializing with friends. They look forward to starting their family in the Chicagoland suburbs.
After graduating dental school, Dr AlRubaie finished a 2 year residency program in advanced education in general dentistry from Miami, Florida and practiced for 6 years as a general dentist in Illinois and Florida. Afterwards, Dr AlRubaie joined a 3 year dual degree residency program in Periodontology and Master of Science at Nova Southeastern University/College of Dental medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr AlRubaie is a board eligible periodontist and has a great passion for his field. Dr AlRubaie did his Master thesis about dental implants and he has published in peer reviewed journals.
During his spare time, He enjoys practicing kickboxing and travels for scuba diving spots all over the world.
